PARADISE ISLAND, Bahamas (AP) — Bobby Pettiford Jr. made a back-breaking free-throw rebound with 0.2 seconds left in overtime to give No. 3 Kansas defeated Wisconsin 69-68 in the Battle of Atlantis semifinal. Jalen Wilson scored 29 points and 14 rebounds for the reigning champion Jayhawks and Kevin McCullar Jr. he had 18 points and nine rebounds — and 3 in overtime. Tyler Wahl led the Badgers with 23 points and 10 rebounds. Most of the points are back together after six years.

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — Zach Edey had 24 points and 12 rebounds for No. 24 Purdue to an 80-68 victory over West Virginia on Thursday night in the opening round of the Philly Knight Legacy tournament. Mason Gillis added 14 points for the Boilermakers (4-0), and Brandon Newman came off the bench to score eight points. Eric Stevenson scored 17 points as the Mountaineers (3-1) lost for the first time this season. Joseph Toussaint added 16 points off the bench.

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — Freshman Tamin Lipsey made four free throws, the only points of the game, in the final 20 seconds of overtime, while also having a key steal, and Iowa State beat Villanova 81-79 in the Phil. Knight Invitational. The Cyclones opened the second half with a 17-1 run to take a 51-35 lead, but the Beasts scored the final seven points of regulation. Gabe Kalscheur, who led Iowa State with 25 points, had five points in overtime. Caleb Daniel led the Wildcats with 25 points.

KISSIMMEE, Fla. (AP) — Tanner Groves scored a season-high 17 points, Jacob Groves added 16 and Oklahoma beat Nebraska 69-56 to open the ESPN Invitational Tournament. The Luco brothers combined for 13 of Lacinio’s final 17 points in the first half for a 41-34 lead. Jacob Groves had 12 points in the middle. Oklahoma went on a 6-0 run midway through the half to extend its lead to 55-43, then led by double figures the rest of the way. Jalen Hill scored 13 points and Dona Sherfield had 10 points and eight assists for Oklahoma. Juwan Gary had 16 points and seven rebounds for Nebraska.

ST. Thomas, Virgin Islands — Gabby Gregorius made six 3-pointers and scored 22 points and No. 25 Kansas State used a 30-4 third quarter to cruise past Clemson 76-38 in the Paradise Jam. Kansas State led by just three points, 32-29, before halftime before taking a game-changing third. The Beast closed it with 144-5 in the fourth. Jaelyn Glenn scored 16 points and Brylee Glenn added 12 points for Kansas State, which plays Northern Arizona on Friday. Ruby Whitehorn had a team-high eight points for Clemson, which faces Arkansas on Friday. The Tigers were 12-of-46 shooting (26%). The last meeting between the schools came on Nov. 25, 1990, in Manhattan, Kan., a 68-61 Clemson win.

LAHAINA, Hawaii (AP) — Justice Sueing scored 23 of his career-high 33 points in the second half to help Ohio State hold off No. 21 Texas Tech for an 80-73 win in the fifth-place game at the Maui Invitational. The Raiders scored 15 points in a row against the Buckeyes in the final 10 minutes to turn back Tech every time they threatened to make a run. Ohio State shot 52% from the field, made all 18 of its free throws and never trailed after the first two minutes. Texas Tech got a career-high 21 points from Daniel Batch and 19 from Kevin Obanor.

PARADISE ISLAND, Bahamas (AP) — First-year guard Gradey Dick scored a season-high 25 points to help No. 3 Kansas beat North Carolina State 80-74 in the Battle of 4 Atlantis opener. He gave coach Bill Self a successful return to the bench after a four-game suspension. Dick had 18 points on six 3-pointers in the first half before going 1 for 8 from the field after halftime. Kansas led 39-31 at the half, but had to grind this one out in the final minutes. Casey Morsell scored 21 points to lead the Wolfpack, while Terquavion Smith added 19 points.

WACO, Texas (AP) — True freshman Keyonte George scored 17 points, Adam Flagler added 13 with nine assists and seventh-ranked Baylor pulled away from McNeese State for an 89-60 victory. LJ Clamor had 16 points for the 5-1 trio. The Bears had 30 assists on their 34 field goals. Dale Bonner had seven points and 12 assists. Langston Love scored 11 points. Jonathan Massie and Zach Scott each had 12 points for 2-4 McNeese State.
